Using the Power of Music to Learn Spanish!

Music is a powerful tool for language learning. Did you know that music and language share the same neural networks in the brain? So using them together is an amazing way to learn a language, and it's fun too!

At Lingual Learners, we are proud to use the nationally-recognized Canta y Baila Conmigo curriculum, a Spanish-immersion music method that uses authentic music from all over the Spanish-speaking world.  With Canta y Baila, we get our students singing, dancing and playing instruments in Spanish, enhancing their language learning and having fun at the same time.

Canta y Baila: En La Escuela

Music & Movement 2-0 screenshot.png

Used in our kindergarten and lower elementary music classes, Canta y Baila's En La Escuela curriculum provides a collection of 25 to 30 from around the Spanish speaking world that we learn each semester.  Each student gets a digital download of each semester's music and a songbook to take home with lyrics, music and activities inside. In each class, we use songs for both music learning and language learning, incorporating instruments, props and movement to make the music fun and accessible.
